James tattoos Baltimore Craft Icon
Hello all, James here. I had the recent fortune to tattoo a wonderful artist from Baltimore, Juliet Ames of The Broken Plate Pendant Company. We started a custom representation of one of her favorite plate designs. While I tattooed her, we talked a lot about her work and the craft movement. It was a great experience and I thought you might enjoy checking out her work and reading her blog which will be chronicling her tattoo experience in her own words here.

James' Fixer-Upper of the week

Hello Everyone, James here with my "Fixer-Upper" of the week. I really enjoyed fixxing this tattoo on one of my long time clients Christian. We discussed some possibilities prior to our session. After chatting he gave me artistic leeway and this is what came out of it. Thanks again Christian, this was fun-Stay tuned, we'll be tattooing his other chest panel in the coming weeks with a cool Kapala skull to blend into his Black and Grey Dragon I did last year.

Bon Voyage' To our Pal

Our Buddy, our pal. Has moved on to drier climates in Texas. He's fallen in love and ready to take on new challenges in his career. Along with his Brother- They started their trek out to the long-hong state, taking the scenic route and some time to take in some Americana at its best. With sparkles in their eyes and the wind at their backs.
All of us at Bethesda Tattoo will miss our buddy and we all wish him the best in luck and love.
Safe Travels Brother.
James and everyone at BTC
PS- You can keep in touch with Josh and see when he'll be back in town doing guest spots and conventions thru-out the year at his personal art site- www.pandabinge.com

We can't forget all the hard work our Body Piercing crew put in this summer. Andy was a true piercing workhorse, We couldn't keep count how many people came in for various piercings- in was outstanding! All the girls love this guy! Michelle rocked out many, many piercings as well. Her skill level continues to soar into professional status.

Were gearing up for a cozy fall and winter-perfect time to get in and get that big tattoo project started and finished before Spring rolls around. James seems to be Booked up pretty good all the time. His work speaks for itself, but you never know-come talk to him about your idea, he's very informative and eager to take on new and exciting projects thru-out the cool months. Steve is already rocking out awesome work as well. He's only been in the shop for a couple of months but already has made quite an impression with his bold style and no nonsense approach to his work. Simply put- he doesn't mess around, you want it done- he gets it done. No BS. Of course what can be said about Lea that hasn't already been said-0 the girl bangs out awesome work-her skills and artistic delivery is impeccable, just read our reviews on Yelp.com She's mentioned in almost half of them.
